Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oilers wrapped up their four-game road trip on Friday night with a dominant 7-2 victory over the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena.
Zach Hyman led the charge for the Oilers, recording a hat trick. Leon Draisaitl also had a strong night, contributing four points (one goal, three assists). Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Evan Bouchard also scored for Edmonton.
The Capitals struggled to keep up with the Oilers' offensive firepower. Alex Ovechkin scored their only goal, while Evgeny Kuznetsov added an assist.
